Installation Instructions

  1. Location Selection: Choose a dry, well-ventilated area away from moisture and direct heat sources for installation.
  2. Mounting:
    • If wall-mounted, use suitable screws and anchors (not included) to secure the socket outlet firmly to the wall.
    • For portable use, ensure the outlet is placed on a stable surface.
  3. Electrical Connections:
    • Disconnect the power supply before beginning installation.
    • Open the rewirable socket outlet casing using a screwdriver.
    • Connect the 1.25mm² copper cable to the designated terminals inside the socket (live, neutral, and earth) following proper wiring color codes:
      • Brown (Live) to L
      • Blue (Neutral) to N
      • Green/Yellow (Earth) to E
    • Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent overheating.
  4. Reassembly: Close the socket outlet casing and ensure that all screws are tightened properly.
  5. Fuse Installation: Insert a 13A BS1363 cartridge fuse into the designated fuse holder.
  6. Power On: Restore the power supply and test the socket outlet with a suitable electrical device to ensure proper functionality.
